Zeta-Meter System are widely used for measuring electrophoresis mobility and zeta potential. These systems are used with aqueous and organic suspending liquids. Provided systems aids to finish the run in only few minutes and single tracking in seconds.
Reliably Simple
The measurement is very direct. The sample is placed in a viewing chamber called an electrophoresis cell. Then an electric field is activated. This causes the colloids to move with a velocity that is proportional to their zeta potential, and a direction that indicates whether their charge is positive or negative. Once your sample is in the cell, you get your first results in a matter of seconds, and complete results in minutes.
Other details
Based on electrophoresis technique
Uses a high quality stereoscopic microscope that helps comfortably analyzing colloidal particles inside a chamber called an electrophoresis cell
Post pressing status button, user can see the number of colloids tracked, their average zeta potential and the statistical standard difference of the values
Hard copy of the data can be created by connecting a parallel-type printer to these systems
By using the serial port, data can be brought directly to an IBM PC
The data that is held by our free serial port software can be switched over and edited for analysis with the help of Lotus 1-2-3
By getting acquainted with zeta potential, users can easily understand and manage colloidal suspensions
