    Rocking Cell System RC5-Automated hydrate test system for inhibitor screening and compatibility testing.The Rocking Cell uses one of the most stringent condition of the currentlyaccepted methods for research on hydrate inhibitors and influence of corrosion inhibitors. The measuring principleof the rocking cell is based on the steady tilting of cooled, pressurised test cells (rocking cells).

    While tilting, a ball inside the camber is steadily rolling over the length of the test chamber, thereby blending the fluid-gas mixture.
    The movement of the ball creates strong shear forces and turbulences in the test chamber. Thus, the conditions in pipelines are reproduced. 

    For testing the test chambers are filled with a sample fluid (water or other) and a certain amount of inhibitor. The test chambers are cooled down to a given test temperature. Subsequently, the central gas supply is used, to fill each chamber to the individually required pressure of up to 200 bar (2,900 psi).The 5 test chambers are mounted on a movable axis in a closed cooling bath with cooling liquid. Only this axis is tilted during the test. This offers the advantage, that only the test chambers are moved but not the cooling bath itself. 

    The Rocking Cell is extendable up to 10 test chambers.
    The test chambers are magnetically attached and can thus be easily removed for filling or cleaning.

    The compact Rocking Cell requires only a small amount of space and is equipped with an integrated PC.

      H2S Analyzer 320 (DyMS) was developed for determination of H2S content in bitumen, asphalt, crude and heavy oils and refinerey products. The H2S Analyzer 320 (DyMS) measures dissolved and evolving hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, SO2 and inherent sulphur components in bitumen and asphalt, a wide range of crude oils and refinery products under temperatures of up to +200 °C. The instrument provides very accurate and reliable results within the whole measuring range. The H2S Analyzer works for a wide range of emission levels from 1 to 10.000 ppm hydrogen sulfide for the liquid phase and up to 1000 ppm in the vapor phase. H2S Analyzer reduce scavanger treatment costs & save development and measuring time compared to the actually used test methods.The measuring principle of H2S Analyzer 320 based on DyMS method. The instrument has one - optional two - storage and one measuring containers, where the sample will be mixed permanently and hold on temperature up to +200 °C. The sample will be pumped into the measurement container - loaded with a high boiling point solvent - and mixed continuously. Afterwards the H2S is stripped off by purging nitrogen through the liquid. The mass transfer is  improved and more H2S can be detected compared to other methods. 
      The use of inert gas nitrogen avoids oxidation of true H2S. The H2S concentration is finally detected by a specific sensor. In general a measurement requires max. 15 minutes. The results will be recorded, calculated and printed.

VLE measurements at low temperatures can be studied using a stirred equilibrium cell, consisting of a stirred sapphire tubular cell mounted between two Hastelloy C276 or Titanium flanges.This experimental set-up was designed for working temperatures between 200 to 470 K and pressures up to 20 MPa. In this device, known quantities of substances (liquids, liquefied gases, or gases) can be injected into the cell using Top Industrie very accurate metering pumps (PMHP) and gas tanks. For an accurate pressure measurement, three sensors are connected to the cell and heated at constant temperature. The temperature is measured directly in the cell using Pt100.
